You looked around the airport to see a large white sign with your nickname printed on it in large, black letters. You smiled, shaking your head and started off towards the sign.

"______!" cried the sign-holder, dropping the white poster board and running towards you.

"Alfy!" you shouted back, opening your arms wide and hugging the American as he reached you.

"I'm here to be your chauffeur." He announced proudly.

"I noticed." You said, giggling and taking the adorable chauffeur's cap he was wearing off of his head and setting it jauntily upon your own.

"So how was your trip….?" Alfred asked you, eyeing you all over with his bright blue eyes as if checking to make sure you were not hurt while you were away, outside of his protection.

"Oh, alright…. But I'm doing much better now that I'm home." You hugged him again, burying your face in his chest, breathing in the scent of him- cheeseburgers and milkshakes.

Alfred laughs, wrapping his bomber jacket around you so you are trapped against him. "No kidding, _____. I was real lonely while you were gone. The only way I could distract myself was playing Halo 4 like 24/7!"

You looked up at him with your (e/c) eyes. "Aw, really, baby? That's so terrible… Except, was Halo 4 awesome or what?" You grinned at him.

"Totally awesome!" Alfred began to gush about his video game as the two of you walked out to the car. You smiled. It was good to be home.
